Welcome the visit of Dr. Stephan Wolf from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg!
On 3, November, 2023, invited by Prof. Zhaoyong Zou, Dr. Stephan Wolf from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, visited the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing, Wuhan University of Technology, and gave a lecture entitled “From nanoscale assembly processes to toughening textures in From nanoscale assembly processes to toughening textures in biomimetic and biogenic hybrid ceramics”.
Stephan Wolf shared the latest research progress of their groups and their areas of research interest at the presentation, and engaged in scientific discussions with the attending students and faculty members, which greatly stimulated the research interests of the students.
Biography Stephan E. Wolf, independent research group leader lecturer (Privatdozent) at the Institute for Glass and Ceramics of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nurnberg, Department Materials Science and Engineering position funded by an Emmy-Noether fellowship of the DFG. He is a Fellow in the Heisenberg Programme of the German Research Foundation (DFG). Wolf’s Heisenberg project is dedicated to amorphous and thus disordered phases of inorganic materials and develops them into a novel and versatile synthesis tool.
